In the early years it was only Jerry doing the roofing. After a few months, Dawn started roofing with Jerry, after work Dawn would do the books in the office. In 1987 their youngest daughter, Emily was born. Dawn was in the office full time and Jerry had a new partner, " Molly, The Famous Roofing Dog". She climbed every ladder on every job and worked along side Jerry for the next 13 years. She became a favorite around Central Oregon. Today, Jerry still does the estimating and small repairs, Dawn is still in the office answering all your calls. Emily, steps in when Dawn takes a needed break. When Jerry and Dawn aren't in the office or out in the field, they love to travel and spend time in the great outdoors. They love to have family BBQ's and spend time with their children and 5 grandchildren, and friends. 

Jerry & Dawn's Son, Jeremy, started working with his dad when he was just 13. In 1990, Jeremy joined the company and became a partner. Since then Jeremy has become a top professional roofing contractor. He has always been meticulous about the roofing job he does. He holds his crew to the same high standard. Jeremy is knowledgeable in the latest techniques and roofing products on the market today. When a crew from Chavez Roofing is on a job customers always remark how respectful the crew is and how clean and careful they are when removing and installing a new roof.
